As per the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, it is mandatory for employers to make arrangements for immediate medical attention for their employees in case of injury or illness at work, including appointing a sufficient number of first aiders and providing them with adequate first aid training.
The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a nationally recognised and regulated qualification that caters to individuals with a designated responsibility to administer first aid in a variety of emergency situations at work. Additionally, it is suitable for individuals with a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid during voluntary and community activities.
Throughout the 1-day course, participants will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to handle various emergency first aid scenarios, such as managing an unresponsive casualty, performing CPR, dealing with choking, shock, wounds and bleeding, and minor injuries.
